Live RM Requirements Management

Polarion raises the bar for state-of-the-art Requirements Management! Requirements engineers and domain experts can work with their preferred Microsoft Office^® tools (Word and Excel), while engineering manages the implementation in the data-driven environment they need.

Polarion's customizable requirements templates turn requirements documents into Live RM Documents™. ^* Requirements, and the defined implementation tasks automatically translate into Work Items – artifacts managed in the development tracker. Changes in the document or a Work Item are always synchronized, and appropriate people are automatically notified. Think of the benefit for QA alone – now testers can always know when a previously tested requirement changes!

Polarion provides customers with a central repository to store all project information (artifacts) like change requests, bugs, resources, tasks, issues, code, documents, e-mails. Repository is based on Subversion which is also used for configuration management.
